The Research Impact Management Office (RIMO) provides bespoke project, communication, and innovation management services to Imperial’s academics and their research grants, particularly those under the Horizon Europe scheme. RIMO has been supporting Imperial academics for over 15 years. RIMO’s success is evidenced by its current portfolio of research it supports, comprising more than €100 million in project value and involving more than 150 partners globally.
Why bring RIMO onboard?
RIMO’s mission is to maximise the impact of your large research project. We provide dedicated resources for components such as budget and risk monitoring, innovation assessment, exploitation and communication strategy development, and report planning. Often, when there is not dedicated expertise and resource to these components, the effective execution of the grant and the impact of research results are hindered. Bringing RIMO into the grant, ensures there is a consistent and robust service supporting the research implementation.

Medicine - Research Projects supported by RIMO
The RIMO team works on large collaborative research programmes that are mostly funded by UK government or EU funding bodies. However, we are not prescriptive and can explore other funding opportunities with you. On all our projects, we work in close collaboration with other Imperial professional services. If you would like support for a large-scale project that is funded by the private sector, Imperial Projects may be able to help you. Contact Imperial Consultants to find out more.
